Large Inventory of Balls and Seats for Rod Pumps and Various Applications

Product Descriptions

#440 Stainless Steel
A durable, heat treated Ball and Seat, recommended for well conditions where corrosion and abrasion is not an issue. #440 Stainless Steel Balls are magnetic with a very strong pull.
Hardness: Balls HRC 58-65, Seats HRC 52-56.

Alloy (Stellite)
An excellent Ball and Seat for highly corrosive conditions. Alloy (Stellite) Balls and Seats are manufactured from a non-magnetic cobalt based alloy which has a high corrosion resistance. Balls have zero magnetic pull and seats have zero to a very slight magnetic pull.
Hardness: Balls HRC 56-63, Seats HRC 50-56.

Tungsten Carbide
A very tough and durable Ball and Seat, excellent for highly corrosive and abrasive well conditions. Tungsten Carbide is a heavy, magnetic material that is extremely hard and works well where weight is needed. Tungsten Carbide has a strong magnetic pull.
Hardness: Balls HRA 88.00-89.00, Seats HRA 88.00-89.50.

Nickel Carbide (Nickel Binder)
An excellent durable and tough Ball and Seat for the most corrosive and abrasive conditions. Nickel Carbide has the toughness of Tungsten Carbide with the corrosion resistance of Nickel. Nickel Carbide is a heavy, non-magnetic material that is extremely hard and works well where weight is needed. Nickel Carbide has a zero to slight magnetic pull.
Hardness: Balls HRA 89.00-90.50, Seats HRA 87.50-89.00.

Titanium Carbide
Another very tough Ball and Seat. Titanium Carbide has basically the same strength and hardness as Tungsten Carbide but in a lighter weight material. Titanium Carbide has an excellent corrosion and abrasive resistance. The lighter weight ball is less likely to beat out the cage. A Titanium Carbide ball over a Tungsten Carbide seat is a very popular combination. Titanium Carbide is a light weight magnetic material that is extremely hard. Titanium Carbide has a strong magnetic pull.
Hardness: Balls HRA 89.00-90.50, Seats HRA 89.00-90.50.

Silicone Nitride Balls
An extremely tough non-metallic type of ceramic. Silicon Nitride has an excellent corrosion and abrasive resistance. A Silicon Nitride ball over a Tungsten Carbide seat is a popular combination. Silicon Nitride is a very light weight, non-metallic, ceramic like ball that is extremely hard.
Hardness: Balls 1500 VHN (10kg).

Extreme Nickel Carbide
An extremely tough and durable ball and seat. Extreme Nickel Carbide has a high corrosive resistance and is extremely tough. Extreme Nickel Carbide seems to work well by comparison in the toughest well conditions. An Extreme Nickel Carbide seat with a Silicone Nitride ball is a very popular combination for extremely tough well conditions. Extreme Nickel Carbide is a heavy material like Tungsten Carbide with a strong magnetic pull.
Hardness: Balls HRA 93.0-94.0, Seats HRA 88.0-89.0.
